Our Darlington-based recruitment company celebrated becoming part of the UK government’s Disability Confident scheme, in July.

Backed by a nationwide campaign encouraging employers to sign up, the scheme is designed to inspire employers to recruit and retain both disabled people, and individuals with certain health conditions.

The voluntary scheme demonstrates Tribe’s commitment to inclusive and accessible recruitment, being disability aware in the communication of vacancies, and identifying recruitment activities that can better support disabled people.

Joining 20,000 other companies on the scheme, including leading organisations such as Sainsbury’s, and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, this notable achievement for Tribe reflects the positive ethos we strive for throughout the group.

“Becoming Disability Confident shows how Tribe can help everyone to fulfill their potential. How we, as a business, can fully utilise the undoubted skills and experience of everyone who chooses to join us,” said Tribe Recruitment’s Key Accounts Director, Leandra Smith.

“It will also help us to draw from the very widest pool of talent, and communicate the environment of equality and diversity we have created here since day one. We look forward to welcoming more wonderful people into our business, making them feel welcome, and giving them the tools they need to thrive.”
