A KEY appointment has opened up the potential for a North-East recruitment company to develop a national market in a specialist sector.
Bethan Andrews has joined Tribe Recruitment, in Darlington, as Principal Recruitment Consultant – Transport and Logistics.
It follows the recent appointment of Stephen Belton as the company’s Business Manager, bringing 13 years of experience in the sphere of industrial, transport and logistics.
Now, Bethan, who is from Gainford, has been added to the team, having spent eight years specialising in logistics, supply chain, and transport.
Tribe Recruitment is part of the expanding Newlands Group and Group Managing Director, Lisa Spark, said: “This is another key addition to the team, and what makes it really exciting is that Bethan will enable us to extend our reach nationally because she has invaluable experience of building a client-base beyond the North-East.”
Mum-of-two Bethan, who has worked with Stephen earlier in their careers, said: “I was looking for a new challenge after three years with my previous employer, and joining Tribe Recruitment represents the kind of career progression I was looking for.
“The big attraction for me was that the company’s senior management share my values around the way people are treated with care and respect. Clients and candidates aren’t just numbers – it’s about building lasting relationships and trust.”
In her first few weeks, Bethan has already brought in new clients from Coventry and the Southampton area, with more business in the pipeline from other parts of the country, as well as the North-East.
“The aim is for Tribe to not just be the go-to recruitment provider in the North-East for roles such as drivers, transport managers and planners, but to become a recognised point of contact for the sector nationally,” added Bethan.
